We have closed the doors to Wayne's due to a medical condition that made it impossible to deal with all the duties needed to properly run a business as popular and as busy as Wayne's Chicago Red Hots on a daily basis. In the long run, health is profoundly more important than any business.

We won't miss the constant challenge of keeping our food reasonably priced. Since the focus of our menu is on Chicago food, we didn't have the option of buying a cheaper, local alternative. We were stressed with fighting the constant food price increases and fuel costs.

We'll miss all the cool people and the new friends we've met over the past five years. We were fortunate to have been in the position to visit and chat with people that we'd never would have met had we not run the restaurant, franks for the memories!!!
